Robin Lovin teaches ethics at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he was dean of the school of theology from 1994-2002. He has also taught at Emory University, Drew University, and the University of Chicago, and he is an ordained minister of the United Methodist Church. His writings include Reinhold Niebuhr and Christian Realism and Christian Ethics: An Essential Guide.
