CNN must have been getting many complaints, because minutes after I started to post this across the web, they removed the story and replaced it with a campaign story.

This is exactly why we shouldn't keep electing the same two political families to the White House, because their political ties keep building up making manipulation of the system so much easier.

With all due respect,  your implied threat that Obama supporters will stay home if Clinton is the nominee sounds alot like Dobson's threat of surpressing evangelical turnout if McCain is the nominee?  Shouldn't the most important thing be putting someone in the White House that will work with us, rather than sulking and taking their toys with them when they don't get their way?

I find it stupid that you are skewering Clinton because of a couple stories CNN ran.  First of all, unless Clinton has moved into the CNN editing room,  I find it highly unlikely that Clinton is manipulating the newsfeed.  Boogeymen do not hide in every closet.

Secondly, even if Clinton is playing the gender card, Obama is playing the race card.  He might not be doing it as forcefully as you imagine Clinton is, but he is.  Which is kind of ironic, given how two of the Democratic Party's major themes are inclusion and equality.  Now, we've got a race where identity politics are at the very core of the races.

Maybe we should have all voted for Edwards.  At least they were judging him on his record, and wasn't distracted by the sexiness of the idea of the  first black president or of the first woman president.

You are about as foolish as a person can be if you think the Clinton's aren't manipulating the media. The toys that should be put away are yours and Senator Clinton's who likes to cry and show emotions particulary the day before a primary. Remember NH and Super Tues?

The last thing Senator Obama would do is play the race card in a manipulative way. The backlash would be from Caucasians who make up 67% of the electorite.

So pick up your own toys. The people you support are manipulative as can be.

What are the Penalties? In 2007, the penalty for not buying insurance is a fine of $219. In 2008, the fine will be raised to $912. The vast majority of the uninsured here in Massachusetts, who would be required to pay these monthly premiums, cannot afford them. Instead we will be paying the penalty, and still not having health insurance. It should also be noted that ensuring compliance, identifying the violators, and collecting the fine is another costly burden on the system.

How does this feel? Being one of the hundreds of thousands remaining uninsured here in Massachusetts, I can say that it is demoralizing. It feels unconstitutional. I am a good citizen! It's bad enough to carry around the stressful burden of not having health insurance, and now I have become unlawful, as well. I don't believe I was any burden on the system. I took responsibility for my health care costs. I have never visited an emergency room, and I have paid every doctor I have ever seen (actually probably 3 times more than insured patients are billed). Last month I was ill, and needed to see a doctor. I called a couple of doctors' offices, locally, but they would not see me without health insurance. I drove an hour and a half to a primary care office in New Hampshire to get a prescription for antibiotics for Strep Throat.

Hillary has not answered all the questions about her health care plan. But it is a MANDATED plan meaning we all have to PURCHASE or be under some penalty of law
